Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my campaign to be re-elected as Mayor of Inkster.  When I was first elected as mayor four years ago, Inkster was a shell of its former great self.  Once elected I pledged to provide stellar leadership that would guide Inkster onto the right path.  The work that I do each day is inspired by my drive to make the quality of life of every Inkster resident better.

During my tenure we have been able to accomplish some amazing things:

  • Inkster is no longer in receivership by the State of Michigan
    • Over $8 million in debt cleared from former Inkster Public School System
  • Inkster has received three grants dedicated to improving our Police and Fire Departments
    • $260,000 for an ambulance
    • $142, 975 to improve street lighting
    • $100.000 for police emergency vehicle replacement
  • Improved City Services
    • Garbage Collection and Recycling options
  • Improvements at Inkster Parks
    • Westwood Park -- Home of Inkster Raiders Football Team
      • Rehabilitated bathrooms
    • LeMonye Park -- Home of Inkster Vikings Football Team
      • Blacktop Basketball Court
      • Expanded Parking Lot
    • Middle Manor Park
      • New playscape and benches
    • Dozier Recreation Center
